International Coach Clinic in Wheelchair basketball held at Briantea84 in Italy

From 1^st to 3^rd July, IWBF Europe organized it's first international Coach Clinic for Youth Coaches. Maurice Hammerton (Development Officer) invited Coaches from all over Europe and some of the best coaches in Europe attended. With Lars-Gunnar Andersson (Head Coach Sweden Men), Malik Abes (Head Coach Italy, Briantea84) and the tutors, Haj Bhania (Head Coach GB Junior-Team) and Nicolai Zeltinger (Head Coach Germany men, RSV Lahn-Dill) the first clinic of it's kind was a very high level. Further coaches from Belgium, Germany, Lativia and Sweden fulfilled the squad.

Besides a focus on basics like 2 v 2 Defence or Triple Switch, subjects also included PressDefence, Pressbreak, Transition Offence and Crossing. Additionally to this, there has been a block of Development aspects in Junior Wheelchair basketball

IWBF Europe is progressing well in developing an education program for it's wheelchair basketball coaches
