EuroZone to visit Chisinau, Moldova
Peter Richarz, Member of the EuroZone
Standing Committee for development will hold a training camp for
the Moldavian wheelchair basketball players, and investigate
further possibilities on development of our sport in the
country.
After a long period of correspondence a
decision was taken by the committee to send Peter to investigate
the current level of wheelchair basketball and the needs of the
players and local clubs, at teh same time he will conduct a
player clinic.
This is the first time the EuroZone visits
the country, and we are happy to have good contacts with Mr
Serghei Afanasenco, President of the “Federatia Sportivilor
Invalizi Cu Handicap Locomotor”. As Moldova is one of the
poorest countries in Europe, we expect that there is a big need
of materials and looking forward to Peter his report on the
visit.
