Added: 10 August 2010 I am an Australian 28 y.o. 1 pointer with a British passport wanting to play in Europe. I have played 2 seasons of National League in Australia and are now half way into the 3rd season. I have been invited to 2 training camps at the Australian Institute of Sport, and invited to play in the 1st tournament at the AIS with alot of the Aussie players, which developed my game immensely. I have not been able to play for Australia as we have such a good team and great 1 pointers. I train on 1 night a week with the national team (Brisbane Bullets), play 1 game a week with the RollerBlaze Gold Coast League, and play 1 game for the Bullets on Saturdays and 1 game Sundays, and finally train-coach another 2 hours on Saturday with RollerBlaze on the Gold Coast. Our Brisbane coach, Tom Kyle, is part of the Australian team's coaching squad, so our training under him has been of top quality this season. I have just got back from Europe yesterday and loved travelling through Spain and picked up a very small amount of Spanish so would love to play there...or to play ANYWHERE in Europe really would be a dream come true! Added: 02 August 2010 Gravelines, club of wheelchair basket ball, evolving in Nationale 2 (4th French level) seeks, in order to pack the group of players already present, and thus to make it more competitive:
- One or two players, classified 1pt, Big worker on the ground, justified, good defender, and good reading of the play.
- A player, classified 2 or 3 pts, rapid, good technical on fast break, skilful one halfway, much of aptitude in the collective play. Being able to play in number 1 or 2 - A player, classified 4/4,5pts, Big presence with the rebound, skilful under the circle. For all, the motivation of each one, and the desire of it of all to succeed, are essential qualities.
The city in which we play, is a town of basket ball. The professional club has just been finalist of the French Cup and half finalist of the championship . Of course, the club still young person, is created in 2008.
But our ambitions are quite real. Our respect with respect to done everything that we never promise things that we could not hold. We can help the player to settle, to take some expenses charges some if it is needed. But to remunerate a player is not possible and we will not promise it with anyone

Added: 04/05/2010 My name is Jason Salawu and I was born with Spina Bifida on April 5th, 1980. I do not recall ever feeling defeated by disability. I suppose that is why I have never been defeated by it - or basically anything else. As a child, I was a gold medal wheelchair athlete and even appeared on the cover of Sports & Spokes magazine. The gunshot went off and I propelled myself forward, with my head down and my eyes on the prize. Now in 2010, I continue to propel myself forward - no matter what. I began playing wheelchair basketball in high school. While pursuing my bachelors degree in Communications at Edinboro University of PA, I cultivated my basketball skills under the meticulous training of coach, Jim Glatch, current coach of the United States Olympic Wheelchair Basketball Team. That was where I learned to share my passion, drive, and commitment with the other players on my team. By the time I got to play with the New Jersey Nets, I was not only an exceptional point guard, but a formidable force on the court. At about 4'9, my strengths are clearly speed, shooting, and an insatiable ability to foster courage and comeraderie amongst my teammates. In high school and college I averaged 14 points per game and 5.5 assists. Domestically, I have been classified a 3. While I have never been classified for international basketball, I imagine I would be a 2.5. Nothing would make me happier than to contribute my skills, experience, tenacity, & commitment to any of the highly renowned teams overseas. I thank you for your time as well as your consideration and look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Jason Salawu

added: 24/04/2010 I am a class 2 in the U.S. I have never been ranked internationally, but I know this can be arranged. I have been playing basketball now for 10 years, and would like to expand my experiences to international basketball. I have cerebral palsy, and struggle slightly with my left hand on the shooting end. I can finish with the layups, both reverse, scoops, and overhand with my left, but I am predominantly a right handed player. I do not average many points a game. On average, I score about six a game, but where I shine is in my defensive skill. I don't have any noted blocks on my record, but quite a few steals, and forced turnovers on the other team. I have a decent amount of speed and I can read and react to plays very well. On the offensive end, even though I am not big in the scoring column, I am a player noted for setting up the plays. I had well over 60 assists in my 3 1/2 year college career. Another aspect that I have is the ability to communicate well with my team mates. I think communication is a key essential to a successful team. The only thing currently holding me back in the U.S.A is finishing up my college career. I have this last semester to finish and then I am free to go wherever. International basketball seems to be a great place to start the next level of my college career. I hear so many stories about how great basketball is over in Europe from players considered "great players" here in the U.S. I would love to join them in the overseas play, and cant wait to find a team to jump in with.
