Competition Hosting
The European Championships are the Championships for national Men and Women teams organised by IWBF Europe and consists of three tournaments.

The European Championship for Men, Division A
-
The European Championship for Women
-
The European Championship for Men, Division B
-
The European Championship for Men, Division C
The number of teams that will participate will be:
-
12 in the men’s competition Division A, represented by:
1. The ten (10) best placed teams in the last European Championship for men Division A (The organising country must be one of these 9 teams);
2. The two (2) best placed teams from the last European Championship in Division B;

8 in the women’s competition, represented by:
1. The organising country;
2. The five (5) best placed teams in the last European Championship for women, other than the organising country;
3. Two (2) teams from the qualification tournament(s).

a maximum of 8 in the men’s competition Division B, represented by:
1. The two (2) teams (the two last placed teams) relegated from the last European Championship for men Division A;
2. The four (4) best placed teams in the last European Championships for men Division B, other than the teams qualified in (1) above;
3. Two (2) teams from the last European Championship for Men, Division C;
4. The organiser should be one of the above mentioned teams.

a maximum of 8 in the men’s competition Division C, represented by:
1. The two (2) teams (the two last placed teams) relegated from the last European Championship for men Division B;
2. The remaining teams.
EUROCUP COMPETITIONS
The EuroCup is the European Championship for club teams organised by IWBF Europe and consists of the EuroLeague 1, EuroLeague 2 and EuroLeague 3 preliminary rounds and the following finals:

The EuroCup 1 named Champions Cup

The EuroCup 2 named André Vergauwen Cup

The EuroCup 3 named Willi Brinkmann Cup

The EuroCup 4 named Challenge Cup
