IWBF Europe currently organizes the European Championships for Men – division A, B, and C, the European Championship for Women – division A and B, the European Championship for Men Under 23 and for Women Under 24.
European Championship for Men
General Information
Division A
The 12 teams that will participate are represented by:
- The 10 best placed teams in the last European Championship for men Division A (The organising country must be one of these 9 teams);
- The 2 best placed teams from the last European Championship in Division B.
Division B
The number of teams that will participate are a maximum of 10 teams represented by:
- The 2 teams (the two last placed teams) relegated from the last European Championship for men Division A;
- The 4 best placed teams in the last European Championships for men Division B, other than the teams qualified in (1) above;
- The 2 best placed teams from the last European Championship for Men, Division C;
- The organiser should be one of the above mentioned teams.
Division C
The number of teams that will participate are a maximum of 8 teams represented by:
- The 2 last placed teams relegated from the last European Championship for men Division B;
- The remaining teams.
