

The European Wheelchair Basketball Championships 2015 brought 19 countries together to compete at the University of Worcester Arena. Teams battled it out, not only for the prestige of being crowned European Champions but to secure a place at the Paralympic Games in Rio in 2016. The European Championships 2015 have been a perfect example for using wheelchair basketball as a powerful platform to spread brand messages and creating awareness.
The IWBF Europe premium event generated more than 2,642,824 minutes of footage viewed. The live stream was used by 217,221unique visitors and generated 357,804 page views overall.
TV broadcasting and media (online and print) reports generated an estimated media value of £1,449,309.
