Added 3 March 2024: RSV Bayreuth 1994 e.V. (German 2. Division Team) is actively seeking players with classifications between 4.5 and 2.0.

We are in search of players who aspire to enhance their skills both on and off the court. Our goal is to form a Team that is ready to compete in the 1. Division of the German League.

This presents a unique opportunity for young players aiming to embark on their first season abroad. Currently positioned in the second league, we are building our team with the right mix of young and experienced players. The goal is to play in the first League, but we don’t  just want to stay there for one season. Once we determine that we are prepared to compete in the 1. Division, our commitment is to establish a lasting presence.

To realize these ambitions, we aim to build a cohesive team committed to playing together for more than one season. While our primary focus is on young and promising players, we also welcome the inclusion of experienced individuals to complement our squad.

Added 29 July 2023: East London Phoenix are looking to add players for the 2023-2024 Women’s Premier League Season and beyond. This is a great opportunity for players to play in a Female only league ahead of the Paralympics.

Options to Study either an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and compete in the British University Competition (BUCS) are also possible for both Male and Female Players.

My name is Dagmar van Hinte and I’ve been playing for BBU’01 in Germany last season. We have started play-offs and we are hoping to move up to the 1e Bundesliga with our team. Added 30 June 2021: French division B team is looking for a class 4,5 or class 4 ( other classification can also apply but won’t be prioritize) for next season. The organisation wants to built a strong team to access D1 next year. Tall player and good shooting rate, and good defender are requested. Our team is part of a able body professional pro team and we are lucky to practice and play in their stadium. 3 team practices a week and shooting and workout possible everyday. The team also employ a physical trainer and player can access to the gym and workout everyday.

Added 9 June 2021: Rhine River Rhinos (Germany, RBBL1 (Division 1)) are looking for an ambitious head coach. Ideally we are looking for an experienced coach, that can teach our many national players a lot and unlock their full potential as a team. But we are also open to give a chance to a young and talented coach with a clear vision for our team. Our head coach is autonomously in charge of organizing the teams trainings sessions and his coaching tactics.

Rhine River Rhinos were founded in 2013 and made their RBBL1 debut in the season of 2016/17. We have been doing our best to develop professional structures within our club. But as many others there is still room for improvement and we are working hard on us to do so every year. However, compared to other European teams, we do not need to hide concerning our professional structures: All our athletes have working contracts as professional athletes which means that they get full health care and accident insurance and get their visa as professional athletes.

Over the past five seasons in Division 1 we have made it to the playoffs three times. In 2017 we placed second at Challenge Cup. Our roster holds national players from six nations. Our plan is to not only establish our team to play for the titles of the league, but also to develop our sport for a wider audience.  We live by our motto: You can’t stop a running rhino!

Added 29 July 2023: Hey, my name is Ben Moncrieff. I’m 22 years old from Australia. looking for a club in Spain, Germany, France or Italy.

I am a 4.5 point player and was part of the u23 national team that competed in Phuket Thailand in 2022 where we finished in 5th place. I am currently playing for the Perth Wheelcats in the Australian national league. I also play for my state junior team the WA Black Ducks where we finished 2nd last year and I was captain. During the tournament I averaged 33 points, 20 rebounds and 7 assists which led every category. I am a very good shooter from every range. I can play as the main ball carrier or as a shooter on the wing being able to attack off the dribble or shoot outside. I have also been to multiple Australian senior team camps.

Added 2 June 2023: Hello my name is Andréia Farias I’m 37 years old I’ve been playing for the Brazilian national team since 2007, I’ve been to the Paralympics in Beijing, London and Rio, I’ve been to the world cups of the Americas and South America, I’m currently playing for the Portugal team for this season in the ACDC UDI team of Lark, I’m looking for a team to play next season my rating is 1.0 I’m proactive, I play for the team leaving my players very close to the basket, I’m a 1.0 point that has a lot of control of the ball and I make baskets whenever necessary, my baskets are always accurate so today I learned to play as a point guard is also one of my strengths, my other strong point is the defense I always like to defend very well, I assume that those who have a good defense can attack much faster and organized and almost always accurate, whoever hires me will have a dedicated and tactically obedient athlete, and in everything I do I always give my best.

I’m a 3.0 big player who can play a consistent post game and inside threat, also extending into the midrange shooting area and i like to work on the ball to help get my team good shooting positions as well. Added 14 April 2023: Hello, my name is Conn Nagle. I was born on 15th January 2001, and I’m 22 years old. I’m a male, double-leg amputee from the UK, with a 4.0 classification.

I have been playing wheelchair basketball since I was 6 years old. I played for the Belfast Knights in Northern Ireland until the 2019/2020 season, at which point I transferred to the Sheffield Steelers to play in the British Premier League.

I have been part of the Great Britain Under 23 set-up since I was invited to my first training camp at 12 years old. I was part of the Great Britain U22 squad that finished 4th at the IWBF European Championships in Italy in 2018. In addition to this, I played for the Northern Ireland 3X3 team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham (UK), where we beat Australia and South Africa.

My main strengths are my speed, chair skills, and ball-handling. I can also shoot from range. In addition to this, I have a very good understanding of the game and strong defensive awareness.

I would like to play in either the Spanish, German, Italian or French leagues for the 2023/2024 season, but will consider all offers. Added 21 February 2023: My name is Puisand Lai and I am a female, 22 year old, 1.0 player from Canada. I have been playing basketball for 10 years now and first made the national team as the youngest player in 2018. I have competed in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, along with World Championships 2018 and Parapan Am Games in 2019 (where we won gold). My strengths lie in my speed and chair skills. I have strong defensive skills, as well as picking and sealing skills, while being able to finish baskets. I am a quick learner, and am able to play well with many different types of players.

Added 25 January 2022: Hello, I’m Sam Armas and I am a 23 year old mid-sized 3.5. I have been playing wheelchair basketball for 11 years, and have been playing for Auburn University in the NWBA Collegiate Division for the last 5 years as a team captain under Auburn and USA men’s head coach Robb Taylor. I was selected to the 2022 u23 USA Team, and served as a captain for the u23 team as well. We won gold in qualifiers in Playa del Carmen Mexico, and finished 6th overall in the 2022 u23 World Championships in Phuket, Thailand. I have also been in the Team USA selection pool since 2022, and have attended invite-only USA Senior Team tryouts. I am a natural leader and have been a captain of every team that I have ever played for, and I have accumulated International experience from the u23 team and from playing against professional American players at tryouts.

As a 3.5, I pride myself with being an all-around player with a high basketball IQ. I particularly value defense, and use my strong chair skills and communication to be an asset on that end. Offensively, I use my explosiveness to cut to the hoop, and can finish through contact or use my strong court vision to make an extra pass to an open teammate. I have a solid mid-range game, and have a particular knockdown shot from the left 45 bank shot. I have a versatile game, and am willing to fill any role to help my team win; whether that is as a primary scorer, facilitator, post player, defensive specialist, or any other role. Added 4 April 2022: I am a 3.5, bilateral leg amputee. I stood at approximately 76 inches (1.93 meters) prior to my injury. I have played wheelchair basketball for 6 seasons, currently playing NWBA Division 1 for the Houston Rollin’ Rockets. I was part of the University of Texas at Arlington championship winning team in 2016/17 and the undefeated, COVID-shortened season 2019/20, during which we averaged 30+ point margins of victory over the course of the season.
