Version 2 of the Manual for Club Competitions has been released
Small changes have been made to the EuroCup Manual of Regulations
An updated version of the Manual for the EuroCup, the highest Club Competition in Europe, has been published in view of the opening of the EuroCup 2025 registrations.
The second version of the Manual of Regulations for the conduct of Wheelchair Basketball Club Cup Competitions in Europe (edition: August 2023) has been approved at the Executive Council during their meeting in Albacete, Spain, on 4 May 2024.
Minor changes were made by the Competition Commission. The changes relate to technical points in the regulations relating to the administration of EuroCup, including:
- The Team Statements submission deadline has been pushed by one month. The deadline date used to be 1 December. Now it is changed to 1 January. No changes can be made to the Team Statement by the Clubs after this date.
- A new Classification Process has been implemented. The classification sessions will not need any time before the start of the games. Therefore all games’ start times have been changed on the Friday of the Group Stage and EuroCup Finals. The EuroCup Group Stages will begin at 10.00 am, previously at 11.00 am, while the Finals at 12.00, previously at 13.30, from the EuroCup 2025 season.
