The European Championship for Women – division B is Back

After 8 years, four teams will compete in the Women B division European Championship

IWBF Europe is thrilled to announce that the European Championship for Women – division B has been awarded to Swiss Paraplegics Association.

The last European Championship for Women – division B has been held in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy in 2018 with three National Teams: Türkiye, Sweden and Italy. This year, the competition is finally back with four teams. The competition will take place on 12-18 October 2026 in Nottwil, Switzerland. Türkiye, Israel, Ireland and a mixed nationality team, Women of Europe, will compete against each other for the chance to be promoted to European Championships Division A. Organized by Switzerland, Women of Europe gathers selected players coming from 5 countries: Austria, Greece, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland.
