ECMU23 2024 Schedule

The 2024 European Championship for Men U23 will provide an opportunity to qualify for the 2025 World Championship for Men U23

The European Championship for Men Under 23 will take place this summer in Madrid, Spain. It will provide and opportunity for five teams to qualify for the World Championships for Men Under 23 to be held in 2025. 7 countries will take part in the competition over 6 days of games beginning on 24 June 2024.

Following the withdrawal of Portugal, the schedule format had to be reviewed. The competition will first operate like a league – each team will play the other teams in the competition once. On conclusion of the round-robin, the first four teams will progress to semi-finals and then onto finals. Meanwhile the teams placed 5 to 7 will play a new round-robin to find the last ticket to the World Championships

The schedule has been created based on the draw results (Team 1 – Israel, Team 2 – Türkiye, Team 3 – Poland, Team 4 – Great Britain, Team 5 – Spain, Team 6 – Germany, Team 7 – Italy), which took place today, 6 June, in Madrid.

The venue that will host the competition is the La Liga/NBA Academy facility in Villaviciosa de Odón, Madrid.
