ECMU23 Teams Announced

The 2024 European Championship for Men U23, which is also the qualification event for the 2025 Men’s U23 World Championship, tips off in less than a month.

Spain, Great Britain, Germany, Israel, Italy, Poland and Türkiye will compete in Villaviciosa de Odón, Madrid, Spain during the last week of June.

24-26 June: group stage
27 June: quarter finals
28 June: semifinals and crossovers 5-8th places
29 June: FINALS

Note: The 2024 European Championship for Women U25, originally planned to take place the same week of the Men U23 European Championship, had to be cancelled due to a low number of participating countries.

Update 04.06.2024 | Following the withdrawal of Portugal from the competition, the 2024 ECMU23 will now see 7 teams competing.
This requires an adjustment to the schedule of games. IWBF Europe is working with the LOC to prepare a new schedule. The final schedule will be published soon
