Summer 2024: Men U23, Women U25, Men B, and 3X3

The 2024 Championships have been awarded to Spain, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Austria

IWBF Europe has the pleasure to announce that the 12th European Championship for Men U23 and the 5th European Championship for Women U23 have been awarded to the National Wheelchair Basketball Association of Spain (FEDDF). The combined event will take place on 22-30 June 2024 in Villaviciosa de Odón, Madrid, Spain. The Men’s competition is a qualification opportunity to the Men U23 World Championship 2025.

In addition, IWBF Europe has the pleasure to inform that the 16th European Championship for Men – Division B has been awarded to the National Wheelchair Basketball Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The championship will take place in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, on 27 July – 4 August 2024.

To close the summer, the National Wheelchair Basketball Association of Austria will host the inaugural 3X3 Wheelchair Basketball Europe Cup in Vienna, Austria. The competition will take place on 22-25 August 2024.
