European Championships 2023: Less than 100 Days to Go!
It’s time to define the groups schedule
The European Championship for Men and Women – Division A is getting closer. This year championship will be part of the inaugural edition of the European Para Championships, a multi-sport event that will host 1500 athletes coming from 45 countries and 10 sports in one city: Rotterdam, Netherlands.
With less than 100 days to go, it is time to define the schedule for the group rounds that will take place on 11-15 August. The crossover games will follow up right after, with the finals being playd on the 18 August (women) and 19 August (men). The groups’ draw is planned for this Saturday (May 6th), during the highest club competition in Europe. The ECMWA 2023 draw will be livestreamed right after the ¾ place game at the Champions Cup Final 4, which will take place at 16.30 in Bemmel, Netherlands. Ulf Mehrens, IWBF President, and Walter Pfaller, IWBF Europe President, will be attending the draw and have an active role in picking the balls to define the groups.
