Paralympics Men: Bronze medal to Great Britain!

Congratulations to the Men national team of Great Britain for bringing home the Bronze medal!

The final wheelchair basketball competition day at Ariake Arena in Tokyo saw two European teams competing in the Bronze medal game. The medal match-up was a rematch of the 2019 European Championship final.

Great Britain and Spain both claimed the top spots in their groups at the preliminary round: Spain with five wins over five, and Great Britain with four wins and one lost.

Closing today’s game at 58-68, the European champions secured the Bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. Top scorer GB’s player-coach Gaz Choudhry.
