FIBA Foundation Launch for Good Propose a Project Application Window

FIBA Foundation Launch for Good Propose a Project Application Window

The FIBA Foundation has launched its call for Basketball for Good projects for 2023. The applications can be submitted through the Propose a Project platform from 1 January to 15 April.

The FIBA Foundation believes that basketball has the power to empower, educate and inspire youth and facilitates this by implementing Basketball For Good projects around the world. To support projects which coincide with this vision and mission, the FIBA Foundation has launched its Propose a Project platform.

The objective of the Propose a Project platform is to continuously enlarge the Basketball For Good family by assisting projects using basketball and/or wheelchair basketball to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to use basketball and/or wheelchair basketball as a tool for positive change in their respective societies.

Supported projects will receive financial, equipment, or mentoring support and join the wider Basketball For Good community with additional opportunities for exchange, mentoring, and support.

The FIBA Foundation will inform applicants if they are successful before the month of July as well as with the type of support that will be provided.

Applications submitted must fulfill the requirements mentioned in the guidelines to be eligible for support.

For any questions or inquiries regarding the Propose a Project application guidelines, please contact bbfg@fiba.basketball
