Women’s Netherlands, Germany, Great Britain, and Spain qualify for the 2022 World Championships in Dubai

The women’s competition got underway on Sunday (5 December). The European Championship, which features 6 women’s team, is the qualification tournament for the 2022 World Championships in Dubai next year. Four spots are available.
Great Britain claimed a first win over France, 85-16. The Netherlands demonstrated why they are Paralympic and World Champions defeating Germany, 63-34. Spain opened with an impressive 80-11 against Turkey.
Day 3 of the 2021 European Championship started with a victory of the German team over Spain, 55-34. The other women’s games of the day saw Great Britain and the Netherlands’ comfortable wins over Turkey, 78-12, and France, 81-28, respectively.
The Netherlands secured its semi-final spot with a confident performance over Great Britain, 74-44. An important win also for Spain, 76-26 against France. The last women’s match of day 4 saw Germany overcoming Turkey 56-27.
Germany opened the penultimate day of women’s group stages with a straightforward win over France, 66-21. The Netherlands continues its dominance of the competition with a 78-17 victory over Turkey. The most exhilarating match of the day took place in venue 2. With an historic win against Great Britain, 52-56, Spain got access to the semi-finals.
The Netherlands, Germany, Great Britain, and Spain are all now confirmed in the final four and therefore qualify for the 2022 World Championships in Dubai.
On the last day of women’s preliminary rounds, France defeated Turkey, 48-23, Great Britain won against Germany, 53-40, and the Netherlands overcame Spain, 76-39, remaining undefeated.
