Due to the current difficult situation that affected much of Europe and the World, EuroCup 2020 had to be cancelled with only the preliminary rounds of Champions League taking place in January. In this challenging time, it is difficult to think at when we will be back to normality. However, we want to look at next year with a positive feeling.

IWBF Europe realizes that it may be difficult to commit for EuroCup 2021. However, we also believe that competitions are important for many reasons, most importantly because sport can and will give us hope at the end of a challenging and difficult time for everyone. With this in mind, we would like EuroCup 2021 to happen.

Of course, no one knows what the situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) will be next year, but we will be keeping close and careful attention to developments throughout 2020 and early 2021 to make sure that we can host the competition safely wherever possible.

You can find all necessary information and documents to host or take part in EuroCup2021 on EuroCup > General Information.

No ranking points were awarded for the 2020 competition, so the ranking points from EuroCup 2019 will be used to place clubs into the preliminary rounds for the next competition. Allocations will be assigned based on new bids. Therefore, keep in mind to return the “Club Entry Form” and the “Bid Document for Host of Event” before 31st July 2020.

Champions League Preliminary Rounds: Thursday 4th – Sunday 7th February 2021
Quarter Finals Champions League: Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th March 2021
Preliminary Rounds EuroLeague: Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th March 2021
Finals of EuroLeague: Thursday 22nd – Sunday 25th April 2021
Final 4 Champions League: Thursday 29th April – Sunday 2nd May 2021
